Description

The delicate nutty flavour and dry fluffy texture of white basmati rice, make it great for curries and sauces. White Basmati is a versatile, medium-grain rice, with a firmer texture than most other varieties of white rice. It is most commonly associated with Asian dishes but it brings awonderful flavour and aroma to any number of sweet or savoury dishes.

USES

Suggested Usage

as a side dish or as a bed for your homemade curries, stews, stir-fries and slow-cooked meals.Ideal for salads or fried rice when they are cooled. Or can be a quick and delicious rice pudding for breakfast or dessert.

To cook, add a1:2 ratio of riceto cold water to the boilover medium to high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let simmer for 12-15 minutes or until tender and fully. Drain then gently fluff with a fork and cover to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
