International Women’s Day: 5 days of events to celebrate in Hong Kong
This International Women's Day, we're proud to support and celebrate the theme of "inspire inclusion." We really didn't want to simply 'run a promotion on womens products', so we've decided to help make a meaningful impact by using our platform to highlight and promote events in our city that empower and uplift women this IWD.
As a sustainable retail company, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. By sharing this round-up of local IWD events, we aim to amplify the voices of women leaders and organizations, and encourage our community to join in, learn and show support!
For us, "inspire inclusion" means creating a space where all voices are valued, where diversity is celebrated, and where women have equal opportunities to thrive. It means recognizing the strength and power that come from inclusivity and representation.

Raising The Bar: IWD with the women of Asia's 50 Best Bars
Friday 8th March, 5.00pm - 7.00pm
The discussion – moderated by Sassy’s very own Joy Lee – will explore women’s impact on the F&B industry. Stick around on the rooftop between 6pm to 7pm to enjoy cocktails served by The Daily Tot and snacks courtesy of modern Filipino restaurant Barkada and Cookie DPT. See you there!

The Fierce Survivor
Wednesday 13th March, 6.30pm
1880 Hong Kong partners with International Justice Mission (IJM) to bring in Ruby, a leader, survivor and advocate against online sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Her story is not one of a victim but of a fierce survivor. Her story challenges individuals and organisations to consider the actions needed to address the protection and advancement of girls and women in the world, and just how powerful our collective efforts are.
