Description
Elderflowers have a sweet, heady scent. This botanical doesnt just look good, though. Its subtle floral notes make for a refreshing and sophisticated drink, used widely in the drinks industry to create a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as being added to cakes and kes. It has also become a trendy ingredient for artisan distilleries who use the frothy white flowers in their recipes for gin, vodka and even champagne.

USES
Suggested Usage
Prepare as tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1 Tbsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Use the cordial and/or dried flowers in cakes, tarts, jams, pies, or pancakes. The blossoms are great when balanced with tart fruits such as rhubarb. They are also delightful baked with strawberries and raspberries.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
