Suggested Cooking method
Prepare
In a heavy saucepan, place the 16-grain rice. Mix it up with a little bit of cold water. Remove the extra starch by tilting the saucepan, pouring out the water, and giving the grains a thorough hand scrape. Afterwards, add more water to the saucepan, stir, clean, and then drain the water. Iterate a few times until the water seems somewhat transparent. Make sure the grains are well moistened after that by draining the water one last time.
Cooking
The rice cooker should first be filled with the white rice and 16-grain rice, as well as the liquid in which the rice was soaked, and well mixed. Once you begin cooking, do not add any extra liquid. Before cooking the rice, let it rest for fifteen minutes once the cooking process is over.
