Chaga is a mushroom found on birch trees across the northern hemisphere, in colder climates, the Chaga Mushroom (Inonotus Obliquus) contains an array of biologically active phytochemicals and essential nutrients for stimulating the immune system and reducing inflammation.Use it to make soups, stews, sauces, creamy dishes, pies, gravies and unique recipes of all kinds.

USES

Suggested Usage

Chaga has been used as herbal medicine and usually consumed as tea, but is also used to make a healthier coffee alternative. Or add 0,5-1 tsp daily to smoothies, yoghurt, juice, porridge, cereal.

To make a Chaga tea, simply add half a teaspoon of Chaga powder to a cup, and mix with hot water, stir and leave to brew for a few minutes, before straining. You can also add either syrup or honey to sweeten the drink.

Storage

Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Refrigeration is recommended.
